As part of the municipal tourism code initiative, Stenograffia renovated and transformed an iconic city location — the Viktor Tsoi Wall underpass — filling it with references to the Sverdlovsk Rock Club, digital aesthetics, and illustration. Across the vaulted ceiling, myriads of stars now shine alongside lyrics from iconic tracks by Agatha Christie, Chaif, Nautilus Pompilius, Smyslovye Gallyutsinatsii, and Kino.
As a tribute to the artists who created the original Viktor Tsoi Wall, a portion of their hand-drawn portraits has been preserved inside the underpass. “Ural rock is a vibrant and original phenomenon,” noted Andrey Kolokolov. “The Sverdlovsk Rock Club became a true creative hub of its era. Its legacy endures through the years and remains a source of pride for our city.”
Alexey Grabilin added: “Fueled by the energy of rock, we turned the underpass into a dreamscape filled with artefacts, real faces, songs, and stories of the rock club. Immerse yourself in the subconscious and the infinite, and you will find yourself feeling that indeed, this music will last forever.”
